This HID Conversion kit is designed to replace your first gen (NA) Miata's tired-low-powered 7" Sealed-Beam headlight bulb to the very bright world of High Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlights.  Please allow 7-to-12 business days for delivery.

The HID Conversion kits Weekend-Racer/Enduro-Racer sells have been tested in NASA's Western Endurance Racing Championship (WERC) races.  They were chosen for durability and for the ability to throw a ton more light in front of your race car.  The goal is to flood this area with light to significantly aid viability while nigh racing.  All of the HID conversions on our sites are NOT recommended for street use where a more targeted light is required so oncoming drivers are not blinded.

In most instances when a sealed-beam bulb is being replaced with a HID set-up it may be required to be creative in mounting, fit & finish of the housing & HID components. Such as: It may be required to cut the large rubber boot on the back of the light housing and tape/glue/silicon it back on after the HID bulb installation.  If you have any questions about installation send us an email and we'll do our best to answer your questions.

FIVE COLORS AVAILABLE:
  • 3000K - Golden Yellow (best in fog & rain)
  • 6000K - Crystal White / Daylight (Recommend)
  • 8000K - Crystal Blue (NOT recommend)
  • 10000K - Aqua Blue (NOT recommend)
  • 12-15K - Deep Blue (NOT recommend)

BULB SPECIFICS:  The type of bulb you will use is determined by the type of plug/connector your current sealed-beam headlight are, a 89-98 Mazda Miata uses a H4 style.
