Underwear


Weekend-Racer highly recommends that all drivers wear fireproof underwear and undergarments to enhance the protective qualities of your racing suit. Remember a SFI 3.2A/5 suit yields only 10 seconds of protection before you start to resemble bacon
  • By adding a layer of quality fire resistant racing underwear will increase the time you have to get out of the car if it is on fire
  • The FIA says that fireproof underwear and undergarments can add as much as 50% to the time to burn
We're guessing that skin grafts are really uncomfortable...  Fire resistant underwear is worth the added sweat.
